CCTV & security systems in Al Shahba
Covering the house without overlooking anyone
Al Shahba is a residential area of Sharjah, and in a family home the hardest part of a camera layout is often not coverage but privacy. Families want the gate, walls and parking watched, but not the neighbours' windows, and not the private spaces inside the house. Good CCTV camera installation in Al Shahba balances both from the first survey, so the system protects the family without becoming a source of friction with the people next door.
A privacy-aware villa layout
- Outdoor cameras aimed inward: gate, driveway, walls and yard, with privacy masks blocking any part of the frame that shows a neighbour's property.
- Entrances, not living spaces: main door and majlis entrance covered, family rooms and bedrooms left out by default.
- Separate access for each person: parents see everything, others see only the cameras they need.
- Smart alerts for people and vehicles, active at night, so the family is not flooded with notifications during the day.
Gate, doors and WiFi in one visit
- Video intercom at the gate, so visitors and drivers can be answered from a phone or an indoor screen.
- Fingerprint or code locks on the gate or a side door, for family and household staff.
- Villa WiFi and cabling that reaches the majlis, the upstairs rooms and the gate, handled by the same team.
For what is acceptable at home, see our home CCTV privacy guide. If any part of the villa is used commercially, the Sharjah Police CCTV requirements apply.
Common questions
Can a camera cover the street outside our gate?
A small slice of the approach is normal, but the camera should be aimed at your gate, not across the road or into a neighbour's entrance. We use privacy masks where the angle is tight.
Will the cameras spoil the look of the house?
We use compact dome or turret cameras in white or grey, and hide cable in ceilings or in trunking painted to match the wall.
Who services the system later?
We handle CCTV maintenance and repair in Al Shahba as scheduled visits, and annual contract customers get priority for faults.
