CCTV & security systems in Khor Fakkan
Camera upkeep on the Gulf of Oman coast
Khor Fakkan is Sharjah's town on the east coast, set between the Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, with a busy container port, a seafront, hotels, shops and residential neighbourhoods. We handle CCTV maintenance in Khor Fakkan and CCTV camera installation in Khor Fakkan as organised, planned visits. The town is a long way from the Gulf side of the emirate, so systems here often go without attention until something fails. If you are looking for CCTV companies in Sharjah that will come out to the east coast, this is how we work.
How we plan a Khor Fakkan visit
- Remote diagnosis first: photos of the recorder screen, the camera list and the fault on WhatsApp, or a look through remote access if you share it.
- Parts loaded before we leave: matching cameras, disks, power supplies and connectors, so one trip finishes the job.
- Agreed dates: we fix a date that suits you, and contract customers get priority on those dates.
- A written report of what was checked, what was repaired and what needs watching before the next visit.
What humid sea air does to cameras
Coastal humidity and salt are hard on outdoor equipment, and corroded connectors, fogged domes and rusted brackets are typical faults on properties near the sea. Port and logistics businesses add vehicle dust and long yard cable runs to the list. On each visit we clean, reseal and re-terminate what needs it, check disks and recording, and replace parts before they fail. An annual maintenance contract fixes those visits in the calendar, and the AMC guide shows what they cover.
Sharjah Police rules apply here too
Hotels, shops, restaurants and offices in Khor Fakkan follow the same Sharjah Police CCTV requirements as the rest of the emirate. Our Sharjah Police CCTV guide explains them.
Common questions
Will you travel to Khor Fakkan for a single faulty camera?
Yes, as a planned visit. It is worth adding any other checks to the same trip, and contract customers already have their scheduled visits in the calendar.
Can you help us export footage for an incident report?
Yes. We can talk your staff through exporting a clip from the recorder or the app over the phone, and set up a simple export routine on the next visit.
We have systems from different installers. Can you maintain all of them?
Yes. We work on Hikvision, Dahua and Uniview systems and many unbranded recorders, whoever installed them.
