A valid membership opens the door. An expired one does not.
How the CRM and the gate work together
- Take the member's photo at reception. The face reaches the turnstile terminal within seconds.
- The member walks in. Their card appears on the reception screen as they pass, and the visit is recorded.
- Their membership ends. The system removes them from the gate automatically, along with members who are paused or frozen.
- They renew at the desk. They are back on the gate within seconds.
Safe by design
- The gate keeps working if the PC is off. Members already on the terminal still get in.
- No mass lockouts. If the data suddenly says a large share of members should lose access, the system holds back and alerts the manager instead of removing anyone.
- A red warning at reception if someone got through who shouldn't have.
- Every manual gate opening is logged with the staff member's name.
